RED BOX BAND
& KATIE JOY.
Simon Toulson-Clarke is the frontman, writer, singer, and producor of Red Box Band. With hit singles such as 'Lean on Me', 'Chenko', & 'For America' in the 80s, they introduced us to world pop rock. Their songs remain strong, and each albumn evolves a new song, but as ever they are motivated by love, freedom, open mindedness, and cracking music.
There songs are diverse, memorable and always melodic, touching, and undeniably cool.
Like her father Simon, Katie Joy's songs have a late 60s early 70s influence. An intense, warm, bluesy, yet raw, singer songwriter quality spans accross her music. She is known for exciting and engaging lyrics that tell a story, and her rich velvety voice. Produced by her father here in at Sundance Studios, they have a great and efficient approach together.

Simon has reached almost every corner of the music business. From production and performance, to head of A&R for East West and Universal records. His ear is finely tuned to what a song needs structurally, melodically, and production wise.
His studio has a relaxed and fun, opened minded atmosphere. Where any idea is welcome, their are plenty of laughs, and music remains first and foremost: something to be enjoyed and loved by those in the room.
